Albert Butler Hayes, age 79 of Fairfax died at Salem Woods Nursing
Center July 7, 2010. He was born January 17, 1931 in Gunter,
Tennessee the son of Joe Tate and Mary Myrtle Crouch Hayes. He was
a veteran of the Korean conflict serving in the Army and an
overhead crane operator for the Kirk & Blum Steel company. He is
survived by his wife, Mary Pfister Hayes, nephew, Milton (Melissa)
Hayes and great nieces, Kristina and Whitney Hayes. Along with his
parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Rudy B. Hayes.
Services will be Saturday, July10, 2010 at the Fairfax Church of
the Nazarene, Pastor Jack Bimber will officiate. Visitation will be
6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford.
Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Gardens,
Milford.
