Eugene (Gene) Robert Wolf, Sr. Loving husband of 62 years to Rose M. Wolf
(Niemeyer) of Milford died peacefully in his home in the company of family on
Easter Sunday, April 8, at the age of 84. Preceded in death by his son, Eugene
R. Wolf, Jr. and brother Roland (Dick) Wolf. Loyal brother of Mary (Margie)
Langenbrunner and Patricia Wolf. Caring father to Diana Grome (Wolf), Lawrence
Wolf (Ruth Wolf) and Elizabeth Allen (Wolf) (Steve Allen). Proud grandfather to
Tiffany Wolf Ross, Michelle Wolf, Tyler Wolf, Joanna Grome, Stephanie Wolf
Somvilaysack, Lindsay Grome, Hannah Wolf and Grace Wolf and great grandfather to
six. Patriotic WWII veteran, Gene served in the Navy and worked for Celotex for
39 years. Devoted member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Oddfellows Laurel Lodge,
Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. A grateful man, Gene was well loved
by friends, neighbors, community members and all those who were blessed to know
this generous soul and faithful servant of God. Visitation, Evans Funeral Home,
Milford, Tuesday, April 10th from 5 until 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial, St.
Andrew Church, Wednesday at 10 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to St.
Rita's School for the Deaf.
