Tommy Ray Burton Moved on to his eternal resting place on July 17, 2008 at age 60. Beloved husband of Bonnie (nee Cope) Burton. Loving father of Jamie (Angel) Burton, Shannon Burton, James Hail Jr., Kimberly (Jeff) Oeder, Angie Davis (Roger) Volski. Devoted grandfather of Justin Volski, Blake Swinford, Isabella and Anastasia Burton. Preceded in death by his father William Burton. Survived by his mother Gertrude (Napier) Burton; brothers William (Lynn) Burton, Ken (Pat) Burton, Paul (Elaine) Burton; sisters Jan Lay, Lynn (Charlie) Hyde, Joyce (Earl) Perry and many Aunts and Uncles. Son-in-law of Howard P. Cope, brother-in-law of Darlene (Gary) Frey, Cheryl Maness, Donnie (Marsha) Cope. Loving uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.Loved by many friends in Ft. Meyers Beach, Florida and Milford, Ohio. Tommy was an employee of Ford Motor Company for over 25 years and served
as a Bargaining Committee Man for the U.A.W. Local #863. He was a dedicated member of the Milford Masonic Lodge #54 and Scottish Rite. Tommy was an avid N.A.S.C.A.R. fan. He enjoyed boating, watching his beloved dolphins and observing the osprey as they nested. Tommy was a firm supporter of our troops and our country. His motto was "Buy American" and he did! Family and friends will be received at Evans Funeral Home in Milford Friday, July 18th from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. with Milford Masonic Lodge #54 F.&A.M.and Scottish Rite services at 7:30 P.M. Funeral services to be held Sat. July 19, 2008 in the funeral home at 1:00 P.M.
