December 8, 1972 - February 20, 2021
On Saturday, February 20, 2021, Anthony Todd Fuqua, giver of joy and friend to all, passed away at the age of 48.
Since life on earth is marked by time and the inevitable question from Todd was "will you set my watch for"
8:10pm. December 8, 1972. Todd is born in Natchez, MS, into the family of Danny and Faye Fuqua. This family has grown to include brother Preston and his wife Jen, sister Candy and her husband Scott, sister Melissa and her husband Jeff, sister LaToya, "adopted" brother and sister, Barry and Jenny Boverie and honorary sisters Natasha and Destiny.
11:30am, January 11, 1994. Todd reports for his first shift as a dishwasher at his high school. Through a program at school, he began a job at Hartz near his home in Pleasant Plain, OH where he was employed for 19 years working in various ways in shipping. His career-span rivaled Barbie's, with seasons as a mailman, "doctor", doula, camp kitchen hand, community timekeeper, cowboy, police officer, and most importantly, gospel singer.
7:00pm. June 1, 1995. Todd graduates from Thomas A. Wylie School. Since Todd was unable to attain his lifelong dream of being as tall as Preston, the next best thing was to graduate high school just like him. He only wanted these things so he would be allowed to get a red Jeep and a shotgun he did eventually get the Jeep.
6:00pm, August 8, 1996. Todd is baptized into Christ. What a joyous day to see the fulfillment of his heart's desire to belong to the God he loved and was compelled to worship daily, often at the very top of his voice.
9:00pm. February 7, 1997. Todd becomes an uncle. The only person Todd loved more than any niece or nephew is his next born niece or nephew. One of his favorite phrases was, "I'm an uncle". His nine nieces and eleven nephews will always cherish this sentiment.
2:00pm, April 5, 2003. Todd is THE best man at his brother's wedding, Todd was thrilled every time he became a "Brother-in-Law", it is a title he proudly proclaimed. Among his many gifts was the capacity to expand his family and his greatest joy was claiming people as his own
7:00pm, March 13, 2014. Todd is the star of the Voices of Warren County spring concert. With the audience filled primarily with his adoring fans, Todd gave enthusiastic performances of many of his favorite songs.
9:33pm, February 20, 2021. Todd flew away to spend eternity with Jesus singing hymns and praising our Lord. On earth his body suffered, he lost the ability to do many things that he loved to do. Now, in heaven, he is whole, free, and able to express his joy completely.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 10am-12pm, immediately followed by a funeral service, at Withamsville Church of Christ, 846 Ohio Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45245.
