Edna Mae (nee Rogers) passed at the age of 90 on May 11, 2018, in Clermont County. She was the daughter of Lowell and Cynthia Branham Rogers and sister to the late Walter and Charles (Bud) Rogers. Wife of the late Marshall Emery. Mother of Faye E. (James J.) Miller, Robert E. Emery, and Roger E. Emery. Grandmother to Joseph A. (Rhonda K.) and Daniel A. (H. Ranee) Miller, Robert E. Jr. (Kristy), Richard E. (Maggie) and Ronald E. Emery and Trisha R. (Ryan) Kassner. Great grandmother to Matthew A. and Morgan R. Miller, Peyton J. Miller, Noah O. and Kyle D. Emery, Audrey R. Emery, Levi M. Emery and Kennedy R. Kassner.
Edna Mae served 19 years on the Stonelick Township Volunteer Life Squad as a State Certified EMT and was an instructor for the Red Cross. She was honored by the Stonelick Fire Department to be a Grand Marshall of the Clermont County Fair one year. Edna Mae was very active in the Owensville and Clermont County Historical Societies and instrumental in saving the Log House at Gauche Park in Owensville. In earlier years she was active in the CNE Band Boosters which provided band uniforms by making pounds and pounds of fudge sold at the Clermont County Fair and organizing the yearly Band Calendar. Later in life she stayed active by crocheting dozens of booties and afghans for the Linus Project given to children hospitalized. The community and family will surely miss her.
Visitation will be at the Evans Funeral Home in Goshen, May 14, 2018, with visitation from 9:00 am to 10:30 am with service following. Internment in the Stonelick Township Cemetery.
