Harley Lee Singleton age 89, of Camp Dennison passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the Bethesda North Hospital. He was born October 5, 1930 in Camp Dennison the son of Homer and Flora (nee Fowler) Singleton. Harley is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving during the Korean Conflict. After being discharged from the service, he was a truck driver with a local city route. In May 1967 he married Barbara Jean Bohl, who preceded him in death September 9, 2005. He is survived by his children and spouses; Duane & Vickie Singleton, Jean Melzer, Scott & Michelle Singleton, grandchildren; Shaun Brooks, Ryan Singleton, Jonathon (Tina) Singleton, Conner Singleton, Justin Singleton, 6 great grandchildren and brother, William (Ann) Singleton. Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce "Boots" Iles and brothers, Kenneth Singleton and Raymond Singleton. A celebration of life will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, June 21, 2020 at the Evans Funeral Home, Milford, with an American Legion Post #450 Service at 6:30 PM. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Camp Dennison Methodist Church. Reverend Anita Grau will officiate. Inurnment with Military Honors provided by the U.S. Marines and the Southwest Memorial Team in the Camp Dennison-Waldschmidt Cemetery will follow the service. His family request memorials in his honor to the Milford American Legion Post #450, The Camp Dennison Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society.
