November 7, 1960 - July 10, 2021
After a very long battle with cancer, it is with the heaviest of hearts to say that our beloved James "Jamie" O'Brien passed away July 10, 2021 at his home. Preceded in death by his mother, Peggy O'Brien and his father Robert O'Brien.
Loving father of Nolan (Ashley) and Erin (Kyle). Brother of Mark (Kathy), Robert (Deborah), Mike and Sean (Jennifer). Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends.
We will remember him as the resident comedian of the family as everyone who has ever met him, knows him for his sense of humor and his infectious smile. Nolan and Erin are so proud to have been your children and love you so much and ask that you say hi to grandma for us! Jamie had many things he is best known for besides his sense of humor. He was one hellacious guitar player. He loved and was pretty good at the game of golf. And his professional life, he was a very good machinist and CNC programmer, at one time owning his own business before securing his current job at GE Aviation and a huge fan all things Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and the UC Bearcats.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at Oncology/Hematology of Cincinnati, Christ Hospital Physicians and the countless friends and family who have helped out in so many ways and sending heartfelt prayers and words of encouragement.
Family will receive friends at St. Louis Church in Owensville, on Saturday, July 17th from 9:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 AM.
