January 3, 1934 - February 7, 2019
Myra S. Ehrke, 85, of Milford, Ohio passed away from a sudden respiratory illness on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Bethesda North Hospital after a battle with COPD. She is the wife of the late Charles Richard Ehrke who passed away on March 21, 1998.
Myra is the mother of Maxine (Peter) Dewbury, Lori Ann (AJ) Pope, and James Alfred Ehrke. Grandmother of Amber (Jesse) Ehrke, Andrew Ehrke, and Ayden Ehrke.
Myra loved life and was known for her creative (mostly true) storytelling. She loved to have fun and was sometimes even a bit of a troublemaker. She lived life to the fullest even if it meant breaking the mold at times.
Myra was born in the Bronx, New York City and also spent time living in Louisiana, Australia, and Malaysia due to Charles' work with Exxon. Myra loved to travel and visited many countries including South Korea, Africa, India, China, Burma, Japan, and Europe. Myra was gifted in creative writing and also worked professionally as a freelance photojournalist in Malaysia and New Orleans. After retirement Charles and Myra moved to Panama City, Florida. Following Charles' passing Myra relocated to the Cincinnati area.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
