Eugene Meece

Eugene Meece age 89 of Mt. Orab, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at the Eastgate Caresprings. He was born May 11, 1930 in Somerset, Kentucky the son of Leonard and Lena (nee Mounce) Meece. Eugene was a machinist with the Robertson Company in Batavia and retired from MarkAndy Comco in Milford. His first wife, Irene (nee Glover) Meece, preceded him in death February 22, 1999. He is survived by his 2nd wife; Bertha (nee Glover) Meece, children; Calvin Meece, Roger Meece, Darlene Westzel, Jeffrey Meece, Buddy Brinson, Mike Brinson, David Brinson, Russell Brinson, Bernice Haggard, Ronnie Brinson, Bruce Brinson, Dennis Brinson, John Brinson and Debbie Gibson, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren on the way, brother; Delno Meece. Along with his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by his children, Brenda Depsey, Timothy Meece and Rose Masters and brothers; Wendell, Paul and Tilman Meece. Visitation for his family and friends in Ohio will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, OH 45122. A visitation and service will be at the Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1 Pine Ridge Rd., Somerset, Kentucky 42501, beginning at 1:00 PM and service beginning 2:00 PM. Reverend Don Kennedy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Church Cemetery.
