ALLEN H. FRY was born on March 4, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Allen and Ethel Fry (Nee Falch). Beloved husband of 74 years to Lucille Fry (Nee Langford); Loving father of Kathleen A. Niemer, Jeffrey E. (Ramona) Fry and Diane A. (Steve) Thackston; Grandfather of Jeffrey Wayne (Robin) Fry, Bryan A. Thackston, Anthony (Rachel) Thackston, Jennifer Sarah Fry, Benjamin E. (Jessica) Thackston and the late James Allen (Crystal) Flynn. Great-grandfather of 8.

Allen loved spending time and working outdoors. He loved fishing and would take trips to Lake Erie often. Allen loved to garden and split firewood. He also loved art. He could sculpt different pieces out of wood, liked to paint, and he even wrote four children’s short stories.

Allen passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 19, 2023 at the age of 94. Resident of Miami township. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home – 741 Center Street, Milford, OH 45150. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery – 234 Center Street, Miamiville, OH 45147.
