It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Rob) Allen Palmer Sr., who left us on March 22, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on June 24, 1973, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Rob lived a life full of passion and camaraderie, touching the hearts of those who knew him.

In his youth, Rob spent time climbing the ranks in the Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He could also frequently be found at the Day Heights Fire Department, where his father worked as a volunteer firefighter. Rob continued this legacy, proudly serving his country in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter, where he made lifelong friends. After being honorably discharged, Rob returned home and grew his family. He spent his free time working on all things automotive and was an avid NASCAR fan.

Above all, Rob was a father and a grandfather, leaving behind his beloved sons, Kyle and Robert (Robbie), and his grandson, Jackson. Rob held a special place in his heart for his mother, Catherine (Cathy), his brother Mike, and his entire extended family. Over the last few years, he could often be found with his two lovable Boxers, Jackx and Whiskey, by his side. Rob was preceded in death by his father, Allen Palmer.

Rob was also fondly known as Uncle Rob. He often showed his love for houseplants by nurturing and sharing them with any who would ask (even some that didn't). He could often be found talking about his latest batch of plants.

A celebration of Rob's life will take place at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 26, 2026, at 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories, laughter, and stories that honor the vibrant life Rob lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a local animal shelter, a veterans' service organization, or to May We Help, a nonprofit that provides adaptive equipment and support for children with disabilities. Donations can be made at: https://givebutter.com/v4hfDt

This cause held special meaning to the family and reflects Rob's compassion and desire to help others.

Though he may no longer be with us, Rob's spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts. Rest in peace, Uncle Rob; a father, grandfather, and friend. You will be missed.
