Alpha Allen

ALLEN, Alpha (nee Sparks), age 97, of Amelia, passed away Monday August 12, 2019 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Anderson. She was born May 23, 1922, in McKee, Kentucky, the daughter of John Sparks and Rosa (nee Wilson) Sparks. Alpha passed away on what would have been her 80 year anniversary to her late husband James Edgar Allen. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Allen, her son, Gary Lee Allen, her brother Virgil Sparks, and her sister Barbara Hayes. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Brenda & Jim Weaver, her son and daughter-in-law Johnny & Pam Allen, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; Visitation will be at Evans Funeral Home - Milford 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio 45150 Friday, August 16, 2019 from 12:30 P.M. until time of funeral service at 1:30 PM; Vernon Green officiating; Burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
