Alva Cleadus Barber (nee Tomlinson), beloved wife of the late Varnard Verl Barber; loving mother of Carolyn (Harvey) Spurlock, Jerry (Marcia) Barber, Rhonda (Kevin) Laws, and Donna (Alan) Huber; dear grandmother of Cynthia, Amy, Lora, Eric, Joseph, Christopher and Elizabeth; great grandmother of Sarah, Shane, Tyler, Abbey, Louis, George, Carter, Sophia, Braxton, Will, Brooklyn, and Callie. Preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Went home to be with the Lord Friday, November 15, 2019. Age 96. Residence Milford, Ohio. Born in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Mrs. Barber was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Milford. She worked many jobs over the years including production worker at RCA and cafeteria worker at Indian Hill Schools and First Baptist of Milford School.
Hobbies she enjoyed were quilting, gardening, and making awesome cakes, pies and candy.
Friends may call Tuesday, November 19th from 10 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church of Milford, 1367 Woodville Pike, Milford, Ohio 45150.
