Ansel Harlow

Ansel Harlow beloved husband of 60 years to Lola (nee Young) Harlow; loving father of David (Suzanne) Harlow and Darrin (Maria) Harlow; cherished grandfather of Brandon (Tina) Harlow, Ryan Harlow, Darrik Harlow, Damon (Sidney) Harlow, Kaitlyn (Kayla) Johnson and Deonna Harlow; great grandfather of Eva, Liam, Jackson and Allie; dear brother of Joseph Harlow. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Spicy (Slone) Harlow; and siblings, Milburn, Rose, Nina, Sloan, Lelia "Tootsie" and Marilyn. Saturday August 20, 2022. Age 81. Residence Blanchester, Ohio. Ansel was a 1959 graduate of Hughes High School. He served in the US Army as a Paratrooper and MP in the 101st Airborne Division. Ansel married Lola on June 7, 1962. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. Ansel will be greatly missed and pleasantly remembered. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St Rt 28, Goshen, OH 45122 on Friday August 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM until time of memorial service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Scleroderma Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project.
