Anthony B. Boellner, Jr.

May 4, 1943 — January 21, 2025

Anthony (Tony) Boellner Jr. passed away at Core Care Lake Ridge in North College Hill, Ohio on 1-21-2025 at the age of 81. He was formerly from Maumee Ohio.

Tony was born 5-04-1943 to Anthony Sr. and Helen (Promenschenkel). Tony graduated from Maumee High School in 1961 and attended Davis Business College where he graduated with an Associate’s Degree.

He served in the US Army and was extremely proud of his service to the country. In retirement he continued his service to others, where he became a volunteer firefighter at the Providence Township Fire Department. He also worked for FEMA and responded to natural disasters, including Hurricane Katrina.

Tony worked at LOF in the Data Processing Department for 35 yrs, and traveled extensively as a project manager setting up warehouses throughout the U.S.

Tony had several outside interests, including fishing, hunting an camping. Several family trips involved going from one campground to the next seeing places such as Maine, the Grand Canyon, Colorado, Mt. Rushmore, and too many others to be named. He had an easy going personality and had the natural ability to meet and make friends with strangers. He was always quick with a laugh or a joke.

He loved his numerous pets throughout the years, and these included dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens. He loved having his grandchildren come out to his farm to explore and help tend to the animals. Likewise, the grandchildren loved going out to Grandpa’s house.

He is survived by his son Timothy (Tim) of West Chester, Ohio and his partner, Ann Ehrhardt. Grandchildren,Abigail (Abby) of Denver ,Colorado ,Luke, Brooke and Nathan (Nate) Boellner all of West Chester, Ohio.

He is survived by sisters Sister Joanne Mary Boellner RSM (Maumee), Mary Boellner(Maumee) and Martha Kleinfelter (Milford, Ohio). He is survived by his nephew Paul Boellner and he nieces Sarah Kleinfelter and Amy Boellner. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his brother, John.

Donations can be made to the American Red Cross, any Veteran’s cause, or a local Animal Shelter, or a charity of your choice.

Funeral 11:00

Followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Maumee, Ohio
