Anthony Steven Rose

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony Steven Rose, who left this world on January 1, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on December 22, 1982, in Mariemont, Ohio, to his loving mother Jan Sturgill.

Despite his quiet nature, those close to him knew him as a source of humor and warmth, often lighting up a room with his jokes once he felt comfortable. His love for the arts was evident in his passion for sketching and painting, capturing the beauty of life in his unique style.

Anthony found solace and joy in playing guitar and bass, often sharing his love of music with others. He treasured the time spent outdoors, particularly during bonfires and camping trips with his children, creating numerous lasting memories

Anthony was the loving father of Logan Rose, Xander Rose, Mark Rose, and Sophia Rose; Cherished son of Jan Sturgill; Dear brother of Joey (Katlyn) Shope and the late Clif Sturgill. Anthony is also survived by his nieces and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held on January 7, 2025, at Evans Funeral Home - 1944 OH-28, Goshen, OH 45122. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. All who knew Anthony are invited to join in celebrating his life, sharing stories, and honoring the impact he had on those around him.
