Anthony (Tony) H. Stuhlreyer, a cherished brother, uncle and friend passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 86. Tony was a native Cincinnatian who spent the majority of his adult years in Seneca Falls, New York, as an engineer for Gould Pump Company, with short stints in Italy and Brazil.
Tony's passions included "everything" about cars, nature, friends and family. Tony was the oldest of 6 siblings and toward the end of his life held the honorary position of "Gruncle" (Great Uncle, Grandpa) for many of his grand nieces and nephews. Tony has been the patriarch of his family for the last 25 years and will be deeply missed by his surviving sisters, Sr. Monica Stuhlreyer IHM, Susan Rielly (Pete), Betsy Wehby (Joe) and preceded in death by his brother John Stuhlreyer (Dolores) and Mary Riordan (Kevin). Gruncle's nieces and nephews included Ginny Warner, Don Stuhlreyer, David Rielly, Kelly Wehby, Monica Riordan, Kate Rielly, Dan Riordan, Tony Wehby, Ben Rielly, Corinne Bridges and Anne Wehby. His cherished grand nieces and nephews include Joe, Jack and Samantha Wehby, Felix Rielly, Brad Stuhlreyer and Madison Taylor, Gabriel , Kelly, Edward and Virginia Bridges, Miles, Rosie and Lea Riordan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vincent Ferrer at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer prior to the Mass for friends and family to gather in celebration of the life of this man who touched the lives and hearts of so many. Burial will follow the Mass in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to IHM Sisters, 610 West Elm, Monroe, Michigan 48162
