Aree
Puccini
Sep 10, 1931 — Aug 9, 2026
Aree "Ree" Puccini, cherished friend, and devoted wife, passed away peacefully of natural causes on August 9, 2026, in Milford, Ohio, at the age of 94. Born on September 10, 1931, in Oneida, Tennessee, Ree was the daughter of Dillard and Stella (Keeton) Stanley. She dedicated her life to nurturing those around her and touched the hearts of many with her warmth and kindness.
Ree married the love of her life, William Puccini, on December 22, 1948. Their marriage was a partnership filled with love and laughter, and Bill adored her deeply. Together, they moved from Cincinnati to Milford and purchased their first home in 1958, where Ree would become known as the "Mom next door". She opened her home to others, always ready to welcome friends and family with a smile, delicious meals, and engaging conversation.
After more than 20 years, Ree retired from Avon, where her intelligence and organizational skills shone brightly. Her passion for music and theater was rooted in the vibrant culture of the 40s and 50s, an era she embraced with elegance and style. Ree's graceful presence and love for life made her a beloved figure to all she knew.
Ree is survived by many cousins and friends who cherished her. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill, and her sister, Juanelle "Nell" Moore. Ree will be remembered for her genuine kindness, exceptional cooking, and her zest for shopping and travel.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in Ree's memory, reflecting the love and warmth she shared throughout her life. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association. Ree will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
