Arthur Connors, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on December 23, 1943, Arthur lived a life full of adventure, love, and service, touching the lives of all who knew him with his generous spirit.
An avid lover of the great outdoors, Art took pleasure in his days spent boating, fishing, traveling, and having fun with his wife, Sue, with whom he shared a beautiful 59-year marriage that began in Reno, Nevada. Together, they created countless memories, exploring new places and building a life rich in experiences. Whether they were living part-time in Florida or their home in Ohio, Art's adventurous spirit always shone through.
Art's love extended deeply to his family. He took great joy in his role as a caring father to his daughters, Chris and Sherrie, and was a proud grandfather who loved creating lasting memories with his grandchildren. His passion for life and family was further nurtured through his friendships at Cobra enjoying boating, fishing, and camping and at Pioneer Creek playing cards, Bocce, golf, and sharing laughter with good friends.
Art proudly served in the United States Air Force, embodying the values of duty and commitment. After his military service, he channeled his strong work ethic into a plumbing career. He became known not just for his skills, but for his unwavering willingness to help others. Art was a good man, always ready to share his time, knowledge, and talents with those in need.
Art is survived by his wife Susan, daughters, Chris (Mark) Cravens and Sherrie (David) Conover, grandchildren, Anthony, Alexander, Aaron and Anna, and siblings James Connors, Mary Byrd and Edward Connors. He is preceded in death by his brothers Alfred and Thomas Connors.
Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, in Milford, on Friday, April 11th from 2 PM until time of memorial services beginning at 4 PM.
Art leaves behind a legacy of kindness, adventure, and unwavering love that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will fondly remember his generous nature and zest for life.
