Arthur Paul Haefner

Arthur Paul Haefner, Our beloved father, formerly of Milford Ohio, passed away on June 13, 2022 at the age of 92. He died peacefully in his home with family at his side. Art, with a capital A, was born on June 29, 1929 in Reading, Ohio, the only child of Arthur Gustaf and Victoria (née Gehring) Haefner. He was a graduate of St. Gabriel High School in Glendale, Ohio. He served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1952. Upon returning home Art became a pipe fitter, a proud member of Local 392. On November 28, 1953, Art married his sweetie, Carol Kosiol. They were together until Carol passed away in February 2020. Art took a break from pipe fitting to follow a lifelong dream of owning a pony keg and so, with his father, opened the Milford Pony Keg, later returning to pipefitting. He retired in 1989 and pursued another lifelong dream, to live in Florida, where Art and Carol lived for over 35 years. Arthur leaves behind his children Carol Haefner, Randy (Anna Maria) Haefner, Barb (Leslie) Haefner, Theresa (Mathew) Barnes, Mary (Douglas) Hall, grandchildren; Tyler Smyth, Jordan Jordan, Coy Barnes, Nickie Chaplin, Shelly Barnes, Sarah Harfner, Jake Heafner, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. There will be no visitation, there will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St Andrew Church 552 Main St, Milford, OH 45150 June 23, 2022 10:00AM with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery.
