Barbara Attinger, daughter of Fannie and Clarence Carter, born on June 25, 1936 has completed her journey on this earth as laid out by God on Oct 23, 2022. Barbara was married to her late husband, Alvin Attinger for 67 years. She is survived by her 4 children, son Rick Attinger and wife Debbie Short, daughter Kandy Attinger Maifeld and husband Randy Maifeld, daughter Tammy Attinger, daughter Lisa Attinger and wife Vicki Viox, grandchildren Andy Attinger and Dana Nichols, Samantha Attinger, Miranda Maifeld, Jonah Maifeld and wife Mackenzie, great grandchildren Madison, Bella, Reese, Hudson, A.J. and Blakely. Barbara graduated from Western Hills High School. She married the Love of her life Alvin. She was a loyal and loving wife, mother and friend. She worked hard at being a loving child of God and raised her family in a Christian home. She was a member of The Newtonsville United Methodist Church and was involved in many groups at the church. She was involved in the PTA at Clermont Northeastern Schools as well as a teacher’s aid for many years. She will be painfully missed by all who loved her. We encourage and hope that family and friends join us in sharing your thoughts and stories of remembrance at our Celebration of Life for Barbara Attinger on Saturday November 5, 2022 at 4pm at The Newtonsville United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, you may want to donate either to The Alzheimer’s foundation or to The Newtonsville United Methodist Church.
