Barbara Fairicene Bostic

Barbara Fairicene Bostic, a beloved member of the community, passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 97. She was born on February 5, 1927, in McCreary County, KY. Barbara was a devoted mother to her son Michael Bostic and daughter Connie Wells. Throughout her life, she found joy in fishing and cherished spending time with her family, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara was a dedicated community member, known for her passion for helping others. She founded the Clermont North Eastern Help Center, a testament to her selfless nature and commitment to supporting those in need. She also served as a board member for Clerco Inc, a nonprofit organization that assists individuals with developmental disabilities in finding employment opportunities.

Survived by her son Michael J. (Fran) Bostic, daughter Connie L. Wells, grandchildren: Teresa Bostic, Mike Bostic Jr., Pam (Jason) Hess, Beckie Stein and Barbie Rice 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her Parents Judd & Ollie Wright Honeycutt, husband Rufus Bostic, grandson Jason Wells and siblings Tilman Honeycutt, Phyliss Holt, Evelyn Bostic, Mary Wells, Virginia Brown, Joyce Honeycutt and Irene Higgins

A funeral service to honor Barbara's life will be held on October 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Barbara will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
