It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara S. Burnett, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, who left us peacefully on April 21, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on June 6, 1943, in Middlesboro, KY to the late Caleb and Stella (nee Holcomb) Clark. Barbara was a vibrant soul known for her craftiness, creativity, and exceptional ability to bring beauty into the lives of those around her.
Barbara enjoyed spending time in her garden and crafts over the years. These passions reflected her nurturing spirit and her love for both the natural world and the happiness of those she loved. She was an outgoing and bold personality, a true "boss lady" in her own right, and a matriarch who held her family together with warmth and love.
To her daughters, Barbara was more than just a mother; she was a source of unwavering support and unconditional love. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, and family gatherings at her home were filled with joy, laughter, and the delicious aromas of her best recipes. Her family was her everything, and she instilled a sense of togetherness that will forever be cherished.
Barbara was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late Dave Burnett; Loving mother of Christina (Mike) Boccieri, Denice (Jeff) Seitz, Kimberly (Jeff), and Stella (Mike) Burnett; Dear grandmother of Luke, Kyle, Tori, Kelsey, Kelsey, Ryan, Nathan and Sophia; Great grandmother of Harlee, Emma, Laney, and Cannon; Dear sister of David and Darrell.
Along with her husband, and parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her siblings Helen, Billy, Roy, Patty, Peggy, Brenda, and Bobby Wayne.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home - Milford. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Please consider donating in Barbara's memory to the Hospice of Cincinnati. https://hospiceofcincinnati.org/donate/
Barbara's spirit will continue to thrive in the hearts of her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be missed dearly, but her legacy of love, joy, and creativity will live on in all of us.
