Barbara Kay Carter

Barbara K. Carter, 56, of Goshen, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, March 14, 2019. She is the wife of Charles C. Carter, and the late Timothy Vaught. Barbara was born in Mariemont, Ohio on June 20, 1962 to Phyllis Rockwell .

Barbara is the devoted mother of Brad Pottorf, Rachel Hunt, Ben Vaught, Hailey Carter, and Mary Vaught. Loving mamaw of Zeth Pottorf, Kalib Pottorf, Dakota Hunt, Brock Hunt, Madison Harcourt, Aiden Allison, Trinity Turner, Braxton Harcourt, and Tayshia Washburn . Sister of Pamela Strole and Tommy Pottorf.

Barbara was well known in the community with her employment at the Meijer in Milford for 20 years as a service manager. She was a very kind person and would do anything to help those around her. She was a big fan of Aerosmith and loved attending their concerts. Barbara loved all her grandchildren dearly and her absence will be greatly felt.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home 741 Center St. Milford, Ohio with Chaplain Brian Wikoff officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be directed to Evans Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
