Barbara A. Hale

Born to Mr. & Mrs. William C. Thomas Jr. (Edith) in Akron, Ohio. Survived by her sister and brother-in-law Joyce & David Willis, her son Charles W. Hale, cousins Christopher, Sue, Emily, Donna, Les, Ruth, Shaylyn, Deana, Mary Ellen and Betty Mae.

Barbara graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in education. She was an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. Barbara taught for fifty two and a half years in the Akron Public School System. She will be missed by family, fellow teachers, parents, former students, and friends whose lives she touched.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 23rd at Family of Friends UMC at 800 E. Market St in Akron, OH. Visitation will be at 11:15 AM with the service at 12 PM and a luncheon to follow in the fellowship hall. Internment will be at the convenience of the family
