Barbara Faye Still

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Barbara Faye Still, who departed this life on February 13, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on September 10, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Barbara lived a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering faith.

Barbara dedicated nearly a decade of her life as a missionary in the Philippines, a period that forever shaped her spirit and deepened her commitment to her family and community. After that cherished experience, she returned home to serve, alongside her husband, as a pastor's wife for 15 years, bringing warmth and kindness to all who crossed her path. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her roles; she was also a licensed beautician, sharing her talents and creativity with those around her.

Family was at the heart of Barbara's existence. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Still Sr. and their four devoted children: Joe (Katie) Still Jr., Caleb (Niki) Still, Naaman Still, and Naomi (Scott) Willis. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Crystal (Adam) Robinson, Karl Still, Rebekah (Brad) Rooks, Laura Still, Rachel Still, Andrew Still, Benjamin Still, Lucas Still, Josiah Willis, Gabriel Willis, and Hannah Faye Willis, as well as her great-grandchildren, Oliver Robinson, Elizabeth and Josephine Rooks. She is also survived by her brother, Danny Rose, and sister-in-law, Brenda Rose.

In her quieter moments, Barbara found joy in the simple pleasures of life. A favorite pastime of hers was crocheting, where she gathered laughter and cherished memories with family and friends, always sporting her trademark smile.

Barbara's life and the love she dispersed will be honored with a service that reflects her spirit. The family will receive friends Saturday February 22, 2025 at Edenton Baptist Church 6655 Edenton - Pleasant Plain Road Pleasant Plain, OH 45162. Vistation starting at 11 AM with Memorial service at noon. We invite all who knew her to join us as we celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman who touched so many lives with her kindness and unwavering faith.

Until we gather to remember her, we hold Barbara close in our hearts, grateful for the time we shared and the profound impact she made on our lives. Her love will continue to guide us as we carry her memory forward.

Barbara was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Christine Rose, sister-in-law Diane Rose and brother Jeffrey Rose
