Beatrice Agnes Schmitt (née Burns), 94, passed away on October 12, 2021, Milford, Ohio. The beloved spouse of the late Leo James Schmitt and beloved daughter of Agnes and Francis Burns (née Weber). Devoted mother of Lynette (Mark) Castator, Mark, Mary Ann (Alex) Pichacz, Raymond (deceased), Jeffrey, Martha (Vance) Arnold, Edward and Julia Harber. Loving grandmother of Alex Castator, Emma (John) Haas, Rachel (Zach) Lenhart, Alex (Anna) Pichacz, Jr., Rebecca and Thomas McKolay, Leif and Erin Veness (deceased), Mary (Ian) MacMillan, Monica (Grant) Macallister, Michael Lengerich, great-grandmother of Remy and Tessa Lenhart, and Henry and Olivia Haas.

Mrs. Schmitt was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa and lived in South Bend, Indiana and Cincinnati where she returned recently after living 45+ years in Flemington, NJ. She was an active volunteer with St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, NJ, Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross, and Hospice. Family and friends will miss her good nature and sense of humor. Services will be held at St. Magdalen Church, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 10:30 AM with inurnment immediately following at St. Magdalen Cemetery, in Flemington, NJ.
