Benjamin Granger Murray

Benjamin Granger Murray, beloved son of Brian and Heidi Murray, brother of Pete Murray and Sam Murray, grandson of Josie Granger, the late Kenneth Granger, Kenneth Murray and the late Ellie Murray, nephew of Ellen (Jim) Taviano, Karen (Dan) Kovert, Susan (Bill) Mallender and David (Leigh Anne) Granger, also survived by many loving cousins and a host of friends. Passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the age of 14.

Ben was a brother, a son, and a friend. He was young but wise - always sharing of himself, giving more, finding the underdog and fighting voraciously for what he believed in. He was kind and forgiving, open and honest and always, always funny.

He learned and listened. He would share a great band he discovered, eagerly get a book recommendation and talk your ear off about the joys of a good Euphonium (heck, even a bad Euphonium).

He was aggressively himself, he owned it, and it was wonderful.

Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Wednesday, July 10th from 5-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Veronica Church, 4473 Mt Carmel Tobasco Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45244, on Thursday beginning at 11 AM.
