Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Benjamin "Ben" Karl Stiehl, precious son of Casey and Sarah Stiehl, on April 23, 2026, at the tender age of 7. Born on April 13, 2019, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ben filled the lives of his family and friends with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories during his all-too-brief time on this Earth.

Ben is survived by his loving parents, Casey and Sarah, and his cherished siblings, Charlotte and Timothy. He was the adored grandson of Brian Stiehl, Laurel Stiehl, Manfred Thiel, and Leslie Thiel. Ben was deeply loved by the Irons Family - Aunt Tracey, Uncle Matt and his cousins Harrison and Eli - and Bondy Family - Aunt Becky, Uncle Ryan, and cousins Jace and Valerie. He will be missed by his great-grandfather Karl Trumpler and preceded in death by his great-grandparents; Beverly Trumpler, Erna Thiel, Wolfgang Thiel, Charles Stiehl, Dorothy Stiehl, Laura Jane Loverin, Stuart Alberda, and Jeannette Alberda.

Ben was a vibrant spirit with an outgoing personality that captivated everyone around him. He loved collecting Pokémon cards, playing and building with Legos, and exploring the wonders of nature-especially rocks and gemstones. His enthusiasm extended to video games like Minecraft, and he found joy in solving puzzles and doing math. Ben enjoyed going to school, riding his scooter, and spending hours on the swings, where his laughter rang out. He brought a sense of delight as he dressed up as a bush for Halloween, embodying the playful spirit he carried in his heart.

In every interaction, Ben exuded love, care, and sweetness, leaving an indelible mark on the lives he touched. His presence was a gift, one that will be cherished forever by family and friends.

Friends and family are invited to join in honoring the beautiful life of this extraordinary young boy at Crossroads Church at their East Side location, 4450 Eastgate S Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45245, on Saturday, May 2nd from 10 AM until time for funeral services beginning at 12 PM. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time, as they come together to celebrate the life and spirit of Benjamin Karl Stiehl.

Rest in peace, dear Ben. You will forever be in our hearts.
