DANIELS, Betty Joan (nee Kersh) - Loving mother of Arthur (Connie) Daniels, and Debbie (Ron) Daniels Owens; Dear grandmother of Mary (Larry) Harrell, Trisha (David) Daniels Houghton, Steven (Kat) Glassmeyer, Melissa (Chris) Daniels Migal, Susan (Dan) Glassmeyer Skelton, Tracey (Seth) Daniels Runyan; Great grandmother of 10 grandchildren; Many step grandchildren; Passed away on Sunday January 10, 2016, age 90 years; Resident of Miami Township; Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years , Kenneth A. Daniels; Joan grew up in Ottawa, Ohio; Towards the end of WWII, she entered nurses training at Cincinnati's Christ Hospital expecting to serve as WWII nurse, her career did not start until after the war. She worked as a public health nurse, school nurse and in private duty nursing. Joan was an active member of Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church over twenty five years as well as a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church for several years. She was active in Kennedy Heights Garden Club and the Meloders singing group. Joan and Ken were members for many years in the Cowan Lake Sailing Association Club.
