Betty Lee Gassaway

Betty left this world at 6:27pm December 20th, to join her husband, Ivan. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters, William Scholl, Larry Cave, Marjorie Capri, Dorothy Hail and Faye Anne Lentz, as well as her first born child Lynn Gail, and beloved niece Marsha Ehlers.

Born Betty Lee Cave July 7, 1931 and one of eight children, Betty had a life filled with tragedies and even more triumphs. Stories related by her of "the old days" will be passed from generation to generation.
Married May 25, 1950 to Marion "Ivan" Gassaway, she became a mother to Lynn (dec) in 1952 and to Robbin in 1955.

Betty was a home maker most her life, always placing her family above all.
She is survived by her daughter Robbin Birch, her grandson Spencer Urash and his wife Courney Urash (nee Meadows), her great grandson and the apple of her eye, Ivan Edward Urash and by beloved dogs, Sadi and Georgia.

She died after a short illness with peace and dignity, surrounded by her family and pets.
