Betty L. Green, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on December 24, 1939, in Kenvir, Kentucky, Betty exemplified resilience and warmth throughout her life.

Betty dedicated many years to working as an assembler at Schauer Manufacturing in Blue Ash, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. After retiring, she immersed herself in her family and community, filling her days with love and care for her children and grandchildren. Her life was rich with experiences, but perhaps her most treasured moments were spent surrounded by family.

A member of the Tree of Life Church, Betty cherished her faith and the support of her church community. Her love for shopping, particularly at thrift stores, allowed her to find unique treasures and, perhaps more importantly, to share joy and laughter with those she loved. Betty was a passionate collector, with her most prized possessions being her delightful array of teacups, each with its own story and sentiment.

Betty is survived by her devoted husband, William Green, and her children: Jonnie (Robert) Rubenbauer, Eddie Harp, Tommy (Cathy) Harp, and Johnny Harp. Betty was a devoted grandmother to her fourteen grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to twenty-eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, often found babysitting and helping nurture the next generations. Her legacy of love will continue to thrive in the lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by: her parents James and Annie Spurlock, son Billy Harp, two brothers, two sisters

As we gather to celebrate Betty's remarkable life. Family and friends are invited to join us in remembering her on Wednesday, Sept 9, 2026 from 6:00PM until time of services at 7:30PM in the John H. Evans Funeral Home, Milford. A heartfelt tribute to her spirit, love, and laughter will be shared in a service filled with reflection, remembrance, and the warmth that Betty so generously gave.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Tree of Life Church to support the community she held dear. Betty's memory will forever be etched in our hearts, a testament to a life beautifully lived.
