Betty J. Lennig, age 93, died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at SEM
Haven in Milford, Ohio. She was born December 9, 1921 in Leetonia, Ohio, to Harry and Helen (nee Fair) Fenstermaker. Betty lived most of her life in Alliance, and was a graduate of Leetonia High School. She was a homemaker, and also a teller at the Federal Savings and Loan. Betty was an accomplished seamstress and painter, and enjoyed arts and crafts. She was an active member of the Palmy Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.Betty's husband was the long-time Postmaster of the Mt. Union Post Office, and following his retirement, he and Betty traveled extensively. Betty is surivied by her two daughters, Barbara (Ed) Tucker of Grass Lake Michigan, and Cheryl (Ellery) Savage of Milford, Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 10-great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband Arthur, who died November 9, 1992; sister, Jane Windram; and brother, David Fenstermaker.
