**Obituary for Betty Ann Lorenz**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Ann Lorenz, who left this world peacefully on December 9, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Batavia, Ohio. Born on October 20, 1966, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Betty lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a passion for the little things that brought her joy.

Betty was a dedicated line leader at D F Electronics, where her hard work and cheerful spirit made a lasting impact on her coworkers. She cherished spending time outdoors, where her love for nature blossomed in her beautiful garden-rows of vibrant plants and flowers that reflected her nurturing spirit. She found immense joy in fishing, often sharing peaceful moments by the water, and she had a special knack for feeding birds and caring for pets, whether they belonged to her or her loving family members.

Above all, Betty was a devoted partner to Donald Wingerberg, and a cherished daughter of Joan and Casper Lorenz. She leaves behind her sisters, Barbara and Kathy Lorenz, and her brother, Denny (Shelly) Lorenz. Betty also adored her many nieces and nephews, who brought her endless joy and laughter.

Betty will be remembered for her warmth, her generous heart, and her ability to find beauty in the simplest moments.

In honoring her memory, there will be a private service celebrating her life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages tributes in memory of Betty by planting a flower or tree in her honor, continuing her legacy of love for the natural world.
