Betty Mae Warfield, 89, of Sardinia, OH, went home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2026, with family at her bedside. She was born on March 13, 1937 in Campbell Co, KY, to the late Jesse and Ethel (nee Jeffers) Davis.
Betty was a woman of strong will and unshakable faith. A devout Christian, she put the Lord first in all things, and she found her greatest joy in His house and in the sound of gospel music. She knew her Bible so well that she carried many of its verses in her heart. Next to her faith, nothing mattered more to her than her family. She poured herself into serving her household, and her love showed in everything she made with her hands.
She was a wonderful cook whose table was always full. For most of her life she tended a garden and canned its harvest, so her family never went without. She quilted for many years, stitching love into every piece, and those quilts will keep her close to the people who hold them. She also spent many years caring for her husband, Eithel, through a long and devoted marriage.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Eithel Warfield; sons, Carl Bruce Warfield and David Warfield; brothers, Maxwell Davis and Everette Davis; and sisters, Thelma Raleigh, Ollie Bunch, and Glenna Perkins, and great-grandson Tristin.
She leaves behind her son, Danny (Pamela) Warfield; brother, Paul (Sarah) Davis; grandchildren, Benjamin Warfield, Heather (Eric) Weaver, Laura (James) Warfield, Kristie (Gene) Fout, Katrina Warfield, Amy Warfield, Lucy (Robert) Clary, Bruce (Stephanie) Warfield, David Warfield Jr., Dillon Warfield, and Danielle Warfield; and many great-grandchildren, who were the joy of her heart.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home - Goshen. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Brother JD Lawson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
