Billy Ray Boggs

Billy Ray Boggs, Sr. was born on December 25, 1950. Beloved husband of 52 years to Edna (nee Baker) Boggs; Loving father of Tonya (Dion) Maxwell, Billy Boggs Jr., Rebecca Boggs (Brandon Johnson), and Roxanne (Rob) Riffle; Cherished grandfather of Samantha (Michael), Kristen, Felicia, Zachary, Ezekiel, Stacy, and Willow. Great-grandfather to Aiden, Leo, Luna, and one on the way. He is also survived by his chihuahua, Rosie. Billy was preceded in death by his father Denver Boggs, his mother, Carlena (nee Fields), step-father Daniel Kendrick, and his siblings Anna Howell and Johnny Boggs.

Billy loved to golf, go fishing, and ride his motorcycle. He was a huge UK Wildcats fan and an avid coffee drinker.

Billy passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 72. Resident of Miami township. A visitation will be held on September 22, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home – 1944 OH-28, Goshen, Ohio 45150. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
