Bonita Joyce Moore

Bonita "Bonnie" J. Moore, passed away on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 after suffering with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 76.

Bonnie was born on March 20th, 1948, the first daughter of Howard and Mary Bischoff. She grew up in Price Hill, Ohio, with her younger sisters, Elaina Bischoff, Denise Hawthorne, and Lisa Bischoff. She graduated from Seton High School in 1966, then went on to receive her nursing degree from Good Samaritan Hospital. After meeting and marrying her husband Mike, they moved to multiple cities throughout the US while he was serving in the US Army, and she worked as a nurse. They finally settled in Cincinnati, Ohio where they raised their children, Shelli, Heather and Brad.

Bonnie was a dedicated nurse for over 47 years ultimately retiring from the University of Cincinati Hospital where she worked in the emergency room for over 25 years. Outside of work, Bonnie had a passion for cake decorating, sewing, and hosting extravagant parties, especially during Halloween. Bonnie and Mike were avid travelers. They visited many destinations including Alaska, Hawaii, Europe, Asia, and South America, with Egypt being her favorite.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Moore of 55 years, her sister Denise Hawthorne, her children, Michelle (Chris) Wahlbrink, Heather (Ben) Abernathy, and Bradley (Nicole) Moore, and seven grand children, Emma Wahlbrink, Lauren Wahlbrink, Abby Wahlbrink, Caelyn Little, Grant Moore, Colton Moore, and Tanner Moore.

Visitation and funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, beginning at 9:00 am at Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, in Milford Ohio. Following the Mass, a burial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetary in Loveland Ohio.
