Boyce Lee King Sr.

Boyce Lee King Sr. age 81, formerly of Mt. Lookout, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020. He was born October 9, 1938 in McCreary County, Kentucky the son of Sam and Clemmie (nee Vaughn) King. Boyce was a musician and music was an important part of his life. His children have followed in his footsteps, continuing with their love of music, playing in numerous churches and events. His wife, Connie (nee Short) King preceded him in death December 12, 2017, along with their daughter Pam Allen, his brother; Brent and sister; Shelby. He is survived by his children; Boyce (Jenny) King Jr., Sherri (Jim) Gibson, Misty (Carnie) Hamilton, grandchildren; Chris, Brooke, Tyler, Nate, Morgan, D.J., Sarahbeth, Myles and Dimitri, several step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and brother, Shannon King. A Celebration Of His Life will be 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford, with a service of music and love beginning at 7:00 PM. His family requests memorials in his honor are made to the American Heart Association .
