Brenda Sue (Betscher) Stephenson, age 64, of Cincinnati, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.
Daughter of the late Richard and Shirley Betscher, Brenda graduated from Milford High School in 1977 and married the love of her life, the late John “Kim” Stephenson, on October 19, 1985. Together, they raised two beloved daughters and founded AMS Construction in Loveland, a company Brenda led for 32 years.
She was a world traveler, a gifted seamstress, a green thumb, a longtime fan of Bob Seger, and a dear friend to many. Above all, her heart brimmed with love for her family. To her relatives, she was affectionately known as BB.
She was the loving mother of Claire (Ross) Quehl and Olivia (Dominic Binkley) Stephenson; sister to Mike Betscher, Cathy (Anthony) Presley, and the late Jim (Betty) Betscher; grandmother to Logan Quehl and an expected Binkley granddaughter; sister-in-law to Pam (Don) Schrantz, Robyn (Bob) Smith, and the late Patty, Jerry, and Shawn (Karen) Stephenson; and aunt to Denise (Derek) D’Arcy, Danielle (Robbie) Wilson, David (Jessica) Presley, Jasmin Aquilera, Ryan (Allie) Betscher, Tallie (Ian) Grigsby, Jhonatan (Brittany) Almaraz, Kevin (Susie Maldonado) Silva, and Priscilla, Brendis, and Ashleey Betscher, Dan (Megan) Smith, Pamela (Matt) Rice, Shelley (Justin) Masters, Shane (Sara) Stephenson, Jena (Chevy) Harris, and many great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, at Faith Bible Church, 8130 E. Kemper Rd. in Cincinnati. A memorial service and lunch will follow. Private graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Miamiville. Flowers can be sent to Faith Bible Church or donations may be made to PetPromise in Columbus.
