Brett Alan Mattingly beloved husband of 12 years to Carrie (nee Layne) Mattingly; loving father of Benjamin Mattingly, Theodore Mattingly and the late Brittany Mattingly; cherished son of Norma (nee Cossens) Mattingly and the late James Mattingly; dear brother of Mike Mattingly, Gary (Anita) Mattingly and Kandi (Bill) Janke; son-in-law of Harold and Kathryn Layne; brother-in-law of Rene (Bill) McGill, Harold (Martha) Layne, Anna (Kurt) Maurer, Vincent (Denise) Layne, Wesley (Liz) Layne, Preston (Lindsey) Layne and Naomi Layne; uncle of several nieces and nephews. Went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 21, 2022. Age 55. Residence Milford, Oho. Brett served in the US Navy. He was an amazing husband and father; his children were his life. He will be greatly missed and pleasantly remembered. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford, Ohio on Saturday June 25th form 1:00 PM until time of funeral service at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
