It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Calleen Howard, who left us on June 16, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on October 27, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Calleen was a pillar of love and strength for her family and friends throughout her life. Calleen dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a nurse assistant at Christ Hospital, where she served as the unit manager for the special care nursery. Her compassion and dedication to her work were evident to all who knew her, but it wasn't just her professional life that defined her. She was a vibrant soul who loved to dance and travel, always seeking new adventures and cherishing the joyous moments life had to offer.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughters, Cindy Sims-Slone, her son-in-law, Eddie Slone, and Ellen Sims. Also her grandchildren - Bobby Slone, Christi Sizemore, Mitchell Sizemore, and Ryan Noe. She also adored her great-grandchildren, Victoria, Bobby, Matthew, and Tyler Sizemore.

Calleen shared a special bond with her sister, Bonny Heatherly, and was a true people person who cultivated lasting friendships throughout her life. In this time of sorrow, we remember Calleen's warm smile, her dancing spirit, and the countless memories she created with those she loved. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
