Calvin Seymore Bell

Bell, Calvin Seymore, age 86 of Morrow, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2019. Calvin was born on August 30, 1932 in Strunk, KY and was the son of Clifton and Madeline Bell.
Calvin is survived by his wife Brenda; daughter Penny (John) Stephenson of Fairfax Station, Virginia; son Steve (Connie) Bell of Blanchester, OH; grandchildren: Sandy Mills, Amy Waddle, Kevin Bell, Denise Howard, Hannah Eads, Kaitlyn Stephenson, Hailey Bell, Jacob Bell, and Eric Stephenson as well as 11 great grandchildren. He also is survived by three brothers George Bell, Noah Bell, Leonard Bell, and a sister Gail Johnson.
Preceded in death by his son Mark Bell of Liberty Township; five siblings: Jess Miles, Eileen Davidson, Jean, David and Royce Bell.
Calvin attended Pine Knot High School in Kentucky. He served his country in the 3rd Armored Division of the US Army, fighting in Korea. He moved to Ohio in search of work. He spent most of his working life at Kroger from where he retired. He was an active member of Bible Baptist Church - Morrow for 8 years. What brought him the most joy was doing things for his family and spending time with them plus a good cup of coffee.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Evans Funeral Home 1944 St. Rt. 28 in Goshen, OH 45122. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00pm. Grandson, Kevin Bell will be officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens. His family requests, if desired, memorials may be made to the Bible Baptist Church, 5275 Morrow Cozaddale Rd. Morrow, Ohio 45152
