Calvin P. Kuhn

Calvin P. Kuhn, a beloved member of the Milford community, passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 77. Born in Cincinnati, OH on January 7, 1947, Calvin was a proud father, husband, and grandfather, known for his dedication to his family and work. He followed in his family's tradition, graduating from barber college and carrying on the family legacy of barbering while also providing haircuts to both relatives and friends.

Such an active man who enjoyed street rodding, golf, fishing, woodworking, mechanics and family time. Calvin showcased his strong work ethic and determination. His commitment to his work was matched by his unwavering love and support for his family. Calvin is survived by his loving wife Mary Jo, daughter Nikki, son Bryce, cherished granddaughter Justess Thomas, and brothers Herman Niederhelman, Clifford, and Charles Kuhn and many nieces and nephews.

After many years as a tool & die maker, Phil switched his career to sales in the machinery industry at E.A. Kinsey and Jones Machinery. Calvin touched the lives of many with his warm smile and generous spirit. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In these moments of remembrance, we celebrate a life well-lived, a legacy of love and dedication that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. May his soul rest in peace.

Calvin was preceded in death by: parents Charles N. Kuhn, Christena E. (step father Herman Niederhelman) Kuhn.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will take place on Wednesday, August14, 2024 in the Evans Funeral Home, Milford.
