Carl E. Hager

On Tuesday, July 14, 2020, Carl Edward Hager, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away at the age of 66.

Ed or Merle, as he was known to friends & family, was born August 8, 1953 at Brown County Hospital to Carl Hager & Helen (Ingram) Conover. He was a graduate of Deer Park High School. The majority of his career was spent with Hilton Davis Chemical Company, where he was the Union's President. On July 31, 1976 he married Donna Jean Roberts. They raised one son together, Jeffery.

Ed had a passion for fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles. He enjoyed a quiet life at home in Maineville, Ohio with his wife and son. He was known for his strong work ethic and love for his family.

Ed was preceded in death by his mother Helen and his father Carl. He is survived by his devoted wife Donna, his son Jeff, his grandson Jeffery Colin, his brothers Dan and John, his sister Rhonda, and 14 nieces and nephews.
