HILL, CARL “GENE” – Beloved husband of 68 years to Barbara J. Hill (nee Chase); Devoted father of Shauna (Steve) Jones, Julie Baumann, Lori (Bill) Swofford, Greg(Lynn) Hill; Loving grandpa of Justin (Elly) Snow, Heather (Izzy) Cortes, Christina (Eric) Luebke, Samantha Snow, Haley Hill, Corey Swofford, Julian (Olivia) Baumann, and Katie (Nathan) Henderson; Great grandpa of Rhiannon Snow, Saige Snow, Ezra Glass, Locklyn Cortes, Colten Glass, Annistyn Cortes, Chase Luebke, Brooks Luebke, and Lilly Snow; Dear brother of Russell (Ann) Hill, Robert (Lil) Hill, Jerry (Bonnie) Hill, the late Arthur Hill, the late Paul Hill, the late Patricia Hill, the late Lee Hill, the late George Hill, and the late Charles Hill.

Gene worked for G.E. for 37 years. He loved to camp and travel with family they traveled to all 50 states and 4 countries which included Canada, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. He belonged to many clubs, some of which were camping clubs like Rainmakers NCHA and Tristate Travelers FMCA and liked riding motorcycles in the Goldwing Club. Gene was known for being a very hard worker and could build almost anything.

Gene passed away Saturday January 13, 2024, at the age of 86 years old. He was a resident of Stonelick Township. Ther will be a visitation at Evans Funeral Home – Milford 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio 45150 Friday January 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM until time of Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis Tennessee 38105.
