Carol Ann Erickson

Born on July 1, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH, Carol Ann Erickson, a beloved woman of faith, foster parent, and Sunday school teacher, peacefully passed away on July 24, 2024, in Batavia, OH, at the age of 81.

Having dedicated her life to caring for others, Carol was known for her kind heart and selfless acts. She touched many lives through her involvement in various charitable activities such as aiding the handicapped and guiding young girls as a Girl Scout leader. She was also admired for her artistic talents, which she shared with the community.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Sandy (Lino) Rios, son Chris (Rhea) Erickson, grandchildren: Lina & Andy Rios and Robbie & Jenny Erickson, great-grandchild, Avery Erickson sister Susan Franks, and niece Stephanie (Josh) Mattes, as well as numerous friends and acquaintances who were fortunate to have known her.

The funeral service to honor the life of Carol Ann Erickson will be held at the Evans Funeral Home in Goshen on July 29, 2024, at 12:00 pm. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place at the funeral home at 11:00 am, giving those who loved Carol the opportunity to come together to celebrate her life and share their memories.

Carol will be deeply missed, but her legacy of compassion and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
