Carole Christine Pearl Dunford

Carole Christine Pearl Dunford, a beloved member of the Goshen community, peacefully passed away on July 31, 2024. She was born on December 10, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Carole cherished her feline companions, finding joy and solace in their company. An avid bingo player and karaoke enthusiast, she loved to engage in these activities with friends and acquaintances. She was a dedicated charter member of the Goshen Citizens Police Academy, demonstrating her commitment to the community she held dear.

Known for her green thumb, Carole found tranquility in caring for her lawn and immersing herself in the beauty of the outdoors. Her quick wit and infectious sense of humor brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Above all, Carole Dunford was a devoted family woman, whose love knew no bounds. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and compassion that will be forever cherished.

Carole is survived by her niece and nephew; Julia (John) Armstrong and Randy Dunford, her great-niece and great-nephew; Aimee (Shane) Ross and John M. Armstrong, her best friend; Lorie Mount Joy and also survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Dunford and her parents William and Hazel Smith.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate Carole's life will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen on August 7, 2024. The visitation will take place at 12:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Friends, family, and community members are invited to join together in remembrance of a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many. May she rest in peace.
