Carolyn Sue Forsythe, 69, passed October 29, 2021. One of a kind, focused on the goal, full of compassion, filled to the brim with witty comments and a sarcastic humor like none other, fiercely loyal to her Lord and Savior, dedicated to the cause of Christ, a woman who said it like it was, who lived each day to the fullest extent and left behind a legacy her family is proud to walk in the footsteps of; these are just a few words that describe Carolyn Sue Forsythe. She was a woman who placed Christ first above all others and allowed Him to guide her pathway even to the very end when He made her an offer she just couldn't refuse of a mansion built just for her, streets of gold to walk on, no more pain and suffering, a body that would not grow old, or fat, and joy forevermore. On October 29, 2021 holding on to her niece's hand, she chose to accept this once in a lifetime, paid in full with the blood of Jesus offer and crossed into her new home peacefully, laying down her worn out lungs and heart, she ran into the arms of her Lord where she was joined in reunion with her husband, Ron Forsythe, dad and mother, Glenn and Irma Newman, brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Vivian Newman, father and mother in-law, Chester and Ida Mae Forsythe, brother-in-law, Mike Newman, grandparents, great grandparents and so many others who had gone on before. She left explicit instructions to those left in this earthly world, niece Annalea King with her husband Tim and their boys David and Jonathan, sister-in-law Roberta Newman, to celebrate with great joy her new relocation and to remember that it is just a few more days until we will be together again.
And so, (oh she would cringe at the grammatical error I just made in starting this paragraph as she was a schoolteacher all her life!) we would like to announce a Dual Celebration of Life service for both Ron and Carolyn Forsythe. Tissues will not be provided as we will be too busy focusing on rejoicing and worshipping the King of Kings and Lord of Lords who has provided a plan of salvation offer that transcends beyond this world and has taken home two of His faithful servants. Ron and Carolyn's family request your presence on November 13, 2021 at 3pm EST at First Baptist Church Glen Este located at 1034 Old State Route 74, Batavia, Ohio. As we recognize several friends and family are not able to travel the distance for the main celebration, we are holding an additional service on November 20, 2021 at ? EST at Wesley Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union located at 860 Red Key Road, Winchester, Ohio. For those who live out of state, a virtual option will be provided by arrangement of their niece, Annalea Newman King's Facebook page for the November 13th service.
