Carolyn Elaine Gable

Gable, Carolyn Elaine (nee Durbin), age 92 of Union Township, passed away at The Glen in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born October 2, 1929, in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Roy and Bertha (nee Yutze) Durbin. After the sudden death of her mother, Roy later married Annie Durbin who raised Carolyn and her sister Delores. Carolyn graduated from Anderson High School. She worked and retired from Macy’s Department Store. She married Joseph Gable and out of that union they had two daughters, Pam Gable, and Patricia (Thomas) Burke. She was a loving grandmother of Sean Burke and Cara Burke. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gable, and her sister, Delores Back. In her spare time, Carolyn loved to shop, garden, and be a fan of the Cincinnati Reds. Graveside services will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery 686 Mt. Moriah Drive Cincinnati, Ohio 45245 Friday May 27, 2022 at 10:30 AM. Services will be held at a later date.
