Carolyn Maedene Schmurr

Carolyn MaeDene Schmurr was born on December 5, 1946, to the late Gilbert and Elva (nee Whitaker) Norton. Beloved wife of 60 years to Edgar A. Schmurr; Loving mother of Maggie (Wayne) Gilbert, John (Melody) Schmurr Sr., Ed (Shona) Schmurr, Julie (Tim) White, and Christa Pendelton. Cherished grandmother of Beth, Brandon, Taylor, Payton, Jessica, Jacob, Emily, Cierra, and Justin. Great-grandmother of 18. Dear sister of Marilyn Hopkins, Benny Norton, Brenda Brown, Bobby Alsip, and Tim Norton. Along with her husband and parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her grandson, John Schmurr Jr. and her brother Bill Norton.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home – 741 Center St, Milford, OH 45150. Funeral service will take place the following day, Thursday, November 9, 2023, beginning at 11:00 AM. Memorial contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice in Carolyn’s memory.
